PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Department of State Solar PV installation is a 31.2 kW grid-tied solar electric system. Aurora Energy provided a turnkey solution including site analysis, engineering, design and installation for the project.
The system included the installation of 104 roof mounted solar modules, a grid-tied central inverter and utility interconnection.

Aurora Energy continues to support a semi-annual service and maintenance contract for the system. Tasks at each visit include visual inspections of all system equipment, ground fault testing, I-V plotting, examination of mechanical connections and performing all service tasks required by equipment manufacturers. Findings during the visit are complied into a report that is reviewed by EMCOR Government Services, manager of O&M services for the building.
